It has been a very long time ago when tap water was deemed safe for humans to consume. Today, consumption of tap water comes along with great risks and using it for bathing and cooking can be hazardous to health. In fact, there has been an urgent necessity in this present time to make use of something that can ensure the quality of water used at home, thus, the high demand for water filters.

As a result of industrialization, the quality of water on earth has been polluted, even proven to contain an indeterminate amount of toxic substances and chemicals which can cause ailments and diseases to humans, such as cancer and other debilitating medical conditions. And given this, why do we have to make sure that the water we have is clean and safe?

The Need for Safe Water

Water needs and should be safe. The safety and clean quality of water need to highly considered fit for usage and consumption. And water is in its cleanest and safest state when it is being filtered. The process of water filtration can reduce germs, contaminants, toxins, and other harmful substances, like bacteria, lead and other forms of hazardous chemicals from drinking water. It can also decrease the risk of gastrointestinal diseases by up to 30%, by reducing the presence of giardia and cryptosporidium- the two deadly contaminants that are water-borne.

Get A Clean Water

Cryptosporidium can cause diarrhea and gastrointestinal illnesses, while giardia takes up residence in the intestine, with symptoms that manifest themselves between one and two days after an infection. Nausea, severe abdominal cramps, and violent diarrhea- all of these results in the body's loss of nutrients and dehydration. However, these can be avoided with the help and use of water filters. Children are more susceptible to giardia and cryptosporidium when they get exposed to unfiltered water.

What's in Unsafe Water?

A quality drinking water is the prime determinant of health, not just for preventing, but controlling water-borne diseases, too. With the help of filtered water, there will be a significant decrease in the incidence of bladder, colon, and rectal cancers through the reduction of chlorine content and chlorine by-products, such as Trihalomethanes (THMs).

These are the chemical compounds formed from water that is chlorine disinfected. These compounds react with various organic matter that are found in water. Unsafe water, when taken into the body basically exposes the body to harmful substances, thus, the need to filter your water.

Why Use A Water Filter?
